Jake update
We're having a pretty good week so far. Jake decided to stay awake from 3am to 5am last night, but then he slept in until 8 o'clock. He usually does really well at night and is able to soothe himself back to sleep. Still working on the morning and afternoon naps. They're not very predictable. His hair is starting to grow back! It looks like it's coming in finer and straighter than it was when he was born. Hair is still brown and eyes are still blue. He woke up with very rosy cheeks today. I'm hoping he doesn't have some sort of rash. He looks just like a gerber baby with them though!

Where, oh where, has all my hair gone?

Two months
Jake had his two month check up at the doctor's this morning. She said he looks great! She's predicting that his eyes will be turning brown or hazel in a few months. He weighed 11 pounds and 4 ounces and was 23 5/8 inches long. He had to get three shots which the nurses managed to do all at the same time, so hopefully he only felt one sting.

Jake
Jacob Michael Flinn was born December 14, 2006. He weighed 8 lbs. and 1 oz. and was 21 inches long. It's been quite an adjustment having a newborn in our lives but he is such a cutie! He gave us a scare last week when he had to be hospitalized for a virus. He was released from the hospital last Thursday and is doing much better at home now. He loves to sleep in his swing and play in his bouncy seat.
Mike and I got married in Dana Point, CA at a park overlooking the ocean. We both love the beach and the water so this was the perfect setting for us. Although we loved California, we moved to Wyoming in March of 2006 so Mike could begin school at Wyotech. He loves school and will graduate in March of 2007. We're hoping to move back closer to family and friends once he gets out of school.
